J-WeB aims at designing and developing an innovative judicial cooperation environment to enable an effective judicial cooperation specifically in the cross-boarder criminal matters investigation phase carried out between EU and Countries of enlarging Europe.

The project focus is on the development of a designed to support the Judicial operators in their daily duties on the two main procedures preceding the request for warrant of arrest.

The JURIX2008 Organizing Committe has accepted a paper and a proposal of demonstration submitted by the J-WEB Consortium. JURIX represents one of the most importand international conferences on legal knowledge and information systems. The 21st edition wil be held in Florence (IT) on December 10-13. More information at http://www.ittig.cnr.it/Jurix08/

The JWEB consortium, together with JUMAS project , will organize the ICT4Justice conference in Thessaloniki (Greece) on October 24th, 2008. The event is focused on ICT solutions for criminal justice. More information are available at the event website www.seerc.org/ict4justice.
